Born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 15 January 1998, Anirudh Thapa is one of the youngest and most admired professional footballers of India, who plays as a central midfield for both Indian National football team and Chennaiyin (Indian Football Club).

Anirudh Thapa Career

(1) At the age of 10, Anirudh Started to play football at St. Stephen Football Academy, Chandigarh.

(2) In the year 2012, Anirudh was selected to join the AIFF regional academy in Kalyani.

(3) He also became the captain in l-League U19, he was also selected to join French Ligue -2 in April 2016.

(4) After the injury of Dhanachandra Singh, defender of Chennaiyin FC, Thapa was put into Chennaiyin FC as a replacement.

(5) Anirudh Thapa played his first-ever professional debut for Chennaiyin FC against Goa.
